The recent sudden death of a Beeton teenager has been addressed by the regions top Doctor.
Chief Medical Officer of Health with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit says rumours on social media have suggested it might have been a reaction to the COVID Vaccine.
Dr. Charles Gardner says while the passing of the 17 year old male on September 27 was unexpected, it was unrelated to the immunization.

Dr. Gardner says the coroner is working with the health unit and the family to determine the cause of death but it could take a number of weeks to complete the investigation.
He also says the teen did not test positive for COVID-19.
