The services provided by the Milton Courthouse will be moving to Burlington as it continues to deal with a mould issue.
The issue was first reported last fall. The Ontario Court of Justice said in a press release at the time that “mould has been found and remediated in the Milton courthouse in the past.” It then came back.
On Monday, The Lawyer’s Daily reported that operations within the Milton Courthouse will be moved to the Burlington Convention Centre as they continue to battle the mould issue.
Mould-remediation work is expected to last until late fall. There are other upgrades being done to the Milton Courthouse that do not have a current timeline.
The Burlington Convention Centre is located at 1120 Burloak Drive in Burlington.
