The Halton Police is deeming the deaths of the two bodies found in a Georgetown house fire earlier this week as suspicious.
Homicide detectives have assumed the investigation. They’ll be looking into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
The identities of the two bodies (one male, one female) have not been confirmed, but the Halton Police says that they believe the two people to have been the homeowners.
The HRPS has put out a call for anyone with dash cam or home surveillance footage in the area Hidden Lake Trail in Georgetown between the hours of 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16th and 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17th to please contact the Halton Regional Police Service Homicide Tip Line at 905-825-4776 if you have not already spoken with police.
