Cogeco has released an update that says the issues that surfaced today should be resolving.
It says that customers should see their service restore progressively, adding that the issue appears to be a larger issue that is not entirely exclusive to Cogeco customers.
If you need more help, read the tweet below:
If you are still experiencing an issue, please contact @CogecoHelps in DM for personalized help. We are sorry for the inconvenience, thank you very much for your understanding,

Cogeco says it is experiencing an issue outside of its network that is causing intermittent issues.
In a now deleted tweet to customers, the telecommunications company says technicians are currently working on the matter. This is the second time this week that Cogeco customers are experiencing these issues.
It’s a frustrating time as customers in the replies of the tweet are complaining of their children needing internet for virtual schooling. The Province of Ontario announced on Thursday that students will be continuing virtual schooling until at least January 25th due to high COVID-19 numbers coming out of the holidays.
We’ll keep you updated should anything change.
We apologize for the inconveniences this situation may cause and will keep you proactively informed as soon as new information is available. (2/2)
