The Home Depot Canada Foundation is launching its Orange Door campaign today.
Until December 20, customers who donate to the Orange Door Project fundraising campaign will support critical housing and support programs for at-risk and homeless youth across Canada.
“This pandemic has been devastating for our partners and the youth they support, and while we continue to support them during this time, youth are facing more barriers to access than ever before,” says Pamela O’Rourke, Chair of the Board of Directors at The Home Depot Canada Foundation and Vice-President of Merchandising for The Home Depot Canada. “This is impacting youth in neighborhoods across the country, which is why 100 per cent of every customer donation stays in the community it was raised to support local youth.”
Through the Orange Door Project fundraising campaign, The Home Depot Canada Foundation supports 125 organizations that are committed to preventing and ending youth homelessness. The Home Depot Canada will also donate $2,000 on behalf of each store in support of the additional impacts faced through COVID-19.
Customers can donate at all store locations. Online donations can be made here.
