The Halton Region has released the latest COVID-19 stats for Halton and its four municipalities.
Across Halton, there were 38 new cases. That brings the total to 1841. There have been 1590 recoveries and 30 deaths. That puts Halton at 221 active cases.
In Milton, there were nine new reported cases. That means Milton has 432 total cases. There have been 381 recoveries and four deaths. That means we now have 47 active cases.
This morning, the Halton Region’s Medical Officer of Health issued a letter to the residents of Halton. Dr. Hamidah Meghani is urging people to continue following the medical guidelines issued in order to curve the spread of COVID-19 during the second wave. You can read more on her letter here.
