A Milton youth is raising funds for Hope in High Heels.
Raheem Chaudhry is nine-years old and is taking part in his third year of the event.
He shares why.
In the last three years, Raheem has raised $710 for Halton Women’s Place.
While it’s great to see the local youth getting involved, a representative at the women’s shelter says they want to see more young boys taking part.
‘Raheem the Dream’ says he has managed to get his basketball coach and one of his friends to join in Hope in High Heels.
myFM listeners may remember Raheem as the Milton boy that convinced his family to paint their garage door to support the Toronto Raptors in their championship run last year.
We had the chance to meet #MiltonON’s Raptors Superfan Raheem Chaudhry!
Check out what he convinced his parents to do to their garage ahead of Game 5 tonight!! @Raptors @DGreen_14 @kawhileonard pic.twitter.com/FxMgzbIXCp
