Thursday, June 25th is Multiculturalism day.
The Halton Multicultural Council or HMC Connections hold this event annually to celebrate cultural diversity.
The event will be held virtually this year, via Zoom, and will be shared on Youtube for those who can’t participate in the live stream from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m..
The Event Coordinator, Ayesha Usman, talks about all the cultures that will be featured.
Their goal is to be able to offer even more cultures next year.
She explains that the day is for all ages, not just adults.
