The Ontario Good Roads Association held their annual general meeting in Toronto last month, where political shakers and movers meet to discuss the current state of things and what they’d like to see moving forward.
Town Councillor for Ward 2, John Challinor II, attended the conference.
He explains why it was good to attend.
Councillor Challinor adds that Milton shares lots of issues as other municipalities.
He says like other towns and cities, Milton focuses heavily on maintaining and investing in infrastructure for the future.
Challinor notes that help goes to the ones who need it the most.
Challinor believes the biggest thing for Milton to do is to focus more on allowing public transit to be more prevalent on our roads.
