The Coldest Night of the Year walk was a huge success.
Walkers turned out at the Milton Sports Centre this past weekend to show support for Milton Transitional Housing.
MTH helps people and families who are homeless or at-risk of being homeless.
This year’s goal was to raise $50,000.
Walk Director John Pollard says they did that and more.
Pollard adds that donations have come in from across the country.
He says he’s ecstatic to know there is that much support for Milton and it’s residents.
Executive Director for Milton Transitional Housing, Donna Danielli, says it’s more than just helping people who are at-risk of being homeless.
There’s still time to donate for the Coldest Night of the Year.
The donation box is open until mid-March, you can click here to donate.
