Food4Kids Halton is entering the school year with lots of donated food.
myFM, in partnership with the Milton Menace, held a food drive at John’s No Frills in Milton.
The goal was to fill as many Gallinger Ford trucks as possible with food donated by shoppers.
Food4Kids Halton Executive Director, Gayle Kabbash, talks about the numbers.
Kabbash adds that roughly 160 children will be able to eat food donated last week.
She says the $3000 worth of donations received will go a long way in helping the organization feed the children.
We managed to fill two Gallinger Ford trucks with donations, equally about $3000 in donations.
