Former Halton MPP Indira Naidoo-Harris has been named the University of Guelph’s new Associate Vice-President of Diversity and Human Rights.
In a statement, the University’s President Franco Vaccarino welcomed Naidoo-Harris.
“She has made significant contributions to advancing diversity, human rights and equity in Ontario, and brings with her a strong commitment to building an inclusive culture,” university president Franco Vaccarino sai
He commended her for her work at the provincial level on diversity and human rights when working with the Ontario government.
The University of Guelph says Naidoo-Harris will start her new role this month.
