The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) is inviting students, families, and staff to an informative evening highlighting the benefits of Special Education Allocation (SEA) Technology in schools.
Designed for students in Grades 4-12, this event will demonstrate how assistive technology is used in classrooms to enhance student learning and success. A key feature of the evening will be student-submitted video entries, presented as part of the Ignite Technology Grant. This initiative fosters leadership skills, strengthens communication, and raises awareness of the role of assistive technology in modern education.
A highlight of the event will be a keynote speech from D.J. Cunningham, Founder of Learnstyle. Cunningham will share his personal journey of overcoming learning challenges with the help of SEA technology and training, offering valuable insights to students and educators alike.
The event will take place on Thursday, April 24th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Secondary School, located at 1125 Kennedy Circle in Milton.
