The Milton Public Library (MPL) has launched a pair of features ahead of their 170th anniversary!
An event that will make Willy Wonka proud, the MPL has hid three shiny golden tickets in three special books related to the year 1855. These golden tickets are tucked away – one in a children’s book, one in a teen book, and one in an adult book – at each of their three branches.
To help with the search, the MPL will send out mysterious and exciting clues on their social media each week to guide patrons to the very book where a golden ticket might be hiding.
If you’re lucky enough to find one, you’ll be in for a prize at the grand 170th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, January 25th!
Also happening ahead of the celebration is a Trivia Contest!
Stop by any branch to participate or download the PDF file. Just complete the quiz and drop it off the next time you visit.
Winning names will be drawn on Sunday, January 26th.
