It’s almost time to sign your kid up for French Immersion if you’re interested.
Starting Thursday, January 9th, families with children in Year 2 Kindergarten with the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) can apply for the Grade 1 French Immersion program for the 2025-2026 school year.
This optional program is designed for students entering Grade 1 in September and offers an engaging, fast-paced learning experience.
The program is now available across the HCDSB without a lottery system, and designated school locations may change based on enrollment and other factors.
Parents can apply through an online portal from January 9th to February 14th,. A link to the application will be available here during this time.
