The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has made an arrest following the stabbing of a teenage boy in Oakville.
On Saturday, December 14th, at roughly 4:30 p.m., police were called to Memorial Park on Oak Park Boulevard for a report of a stabbing. A 13-year-old boy was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been released from hospital.
The suspect was located and arrested by the HRPS on Sunday, December 15th in Oakville. The accused and victim were known to one another and had arranged to fight in the park.
A 15-year-old Oakville boy has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
