The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) needs help in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit and run collision on Halloween night in Milton.
The collision took place at roughly 9:45 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, October 31st. Two boys were walking eastbound on McCuaig Drive when they were struck at the intersection of McCuaig Drive and Andrews Trail. A vehicle driving westbound on McCuaig made a right turn (northbound on Andrews) and hit them in the intersection. The vehicle then reversed out of the intersection and proceeded west on McCuaig Drive and north onto Thompson Road.
Other vehicles were stopped at the intersection and remained on scene. The two youths suffered minor injuries and one was transported to hospital.
The vehicle is described as a newer model (2021 or 2022) black Honda Civic.
Anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the collision and has not spoken to police is urged to do so. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the Cst. Kamba at 905-825-4777 ext. 7441.
