A woman is facing a long list of charges related to identify fraud in healthcare facilities across Simcoe County.
Huronia West OPP indicate a 33-year-old woman from Tiny Township falsified employment applications, certificates, resumes, reference
checks and police checks to resemble active nurses with good standings.
The individual secured employment between 2020 and 2024, as a nurse at multiple healthcare facilities, including long-term care homes,
despite being unregistered and unqualified to practice nursing.
A 33-year-old woman from Tiny Township, turned themselves into the Huronia West OPP on October 24.
She is facing 19 charges including Identity Fraud, Obtaining by False Pretense and Assault with a Weapon.
The accused was held for a bail.
