Halton Women’s Place is “hoping” you “step” up.
November will be Woman Abuse Prevention Month. To kick off the month, the local women’s shelter is hosting their annual event ‘Hope in Every Step’. This a walk to end violence against women and to show support for those affected by gender-based violence within our community.
Formerly known as ‘Hope in High Heels’, the event still holds the same spirit and positivity, while raising funds for Halton Women’s Place.
It’s taking place on Saturday, November 2nd at Burlington City Hall. Check in will be at 10:00 a.m., with the walking beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Register now! It’s $40 per adult, $20 per child, and teams get $5 per person.
