A recall to tell you about… Regarding children’s clothing sold at Giant Tiger stores.
Health Canada states the issue is — high levels of lead.
The affected products include size 2 – 4, two-piece shorts sets from the brand Real Love Girls sold between May and October.
The issue is not with the fabric portion of the clothing, rather the buttons on the shorts… which contain lead in excess of allowable limits.
The recall notice advises customers to immediately stop using the products, and that refunds are available at Giant Tiger stores.
