On Monday, October 7th, the Town of Milton held a Council Meeting.
The first items on the agenda were consent items regarding two local houses that were being designated by the Town as heritage buildings. Those were:
Both buildings were deemed to have historical significance to the community, and Milton’s Town Council unanimously agreed, allowing the items to pass.
According to the agenda, there will now be a 30-day objection period, and should they go through without objection, the buildings will be designated under the Ontario Heritage Act.
