There’s going to be a memorial sign going up along Highway 401 through Milton.
On the morning of Wednesday, July 10th, a transport truck carrying live chickens crashed on the 401 Eastbound near James Snow Parkway.
Upon hearing the news of the crash, PETA has announced a plan to place a billboard in their honour near the site.
“Chickens died in terror and pain because of this crash, and the traumatized survivors no doubt continued on to face the slaughterhouse knife,” says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “PETA urges everyone to please go vegan, saving animals from making the journey to the slaughterhouse in the first place.”
