There’s been a string of home invasions around Halton this month.
Overnight on Sunday, January 14th, three men entered a home on Commercial Street in Milton through an unlocked front door. The suspects reportedly assaulted the occupants of the residence before fleeing in a black SUV with stolen items.
Later in the week, in the early morning of January 17th, three suspects broke into a home on Grouse Lane in Oakville by forcing down the locked front door. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. Despite being confronted by a resident, the suspects made their way into the master bedroom and stole items. These three men also fled in a black SUV.
In both releases, the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) described the suspects as three young males. One release describes them as black. It has not been confirmed if the two cases are related.
A video shared on Milton’s Reddit page has a time stamp of 11:01 p.m. on Thursday, January 18th. It shows three (potentially four) suspects entering a home as they appear to search the building.
The video is 17 seconds long.
