The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) needs help in finding a wanted man.
Back on Friday, June 23rd, 37-year-old Trevor Adams was reportedly involved in a collision near the intersection of Maple Avenue and Fairview Street in Burlington. He fled the scene without making attempts to check on the other driver or exchange information. Adams was located a short time later by police and again fled the scene. Subsequent attempts to locate and arrest Adams have been unsuccessful, and he is known to be actively evading police.
The HRPS describes Adams as:
- white male
- Roughly 6’0″ tall
- weighs roughly 180 lbs
Adams is wanted for charges of:
- Failure to Stop after an Accident
- Flight from Peace Officer
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Taking Motor Vehicle Without Consent
Although Adams has ties to the Burlington area, investigators believe he is residing in Hamilton.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Adams is urged to come forward and contact the police immediately. Residents are advised not to approach him.
