The Milton Community Fund has now been finalized for next year.
Milton Town Council approved allocating grants totaling $362,564 to 46 local organizations.
This fund supports a wide variety of not-for-profit organizations and programs that enhance local access to artistic, cultural and recreational programs. You can find the full list of recipients here.
“The Town remains committed to supporting local not-for-profit organizations that are dedicated to helping our community thrive and prosper,” says Milton Mayor Gord Krantz. “Grants from the Milton Community Fund will help our recipients power initiatives aimed at bringing our residents together and improving our community’s quality of life.”
Town Council established the Milton Community Fund to distribute a portion of the funds received from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) for hosting Elements Casino Mohawk in Campbellville. The money from OLG comes in quarterly payments.
Since 2001, the Milton Community Fund has distributed more than $7.6 million into the community.
