The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for an unknown suspect in a robbery investigation.
Back on Thursday, October 12th, at roughly 5:20 p.m., the male suspect entered Griffin Jewellery Designs in the Burlington Mall and asked to look at some rings. While in possession of an expensive engagement ring, the suspect told the employee that there were people outside of the store with guns. The suspect then departed the store with the ring, estimated at $40,000.
The suspect is described by the HRPS as:
- roughly 30 years old;
- over 6 feet tall with a fit build;
- clean shaven with dark brown hair and light brown eyes;
- wearing black shoes, black Adidas pants, a black jacket, black t-shirt, dark tinted aviator-style sunglasses; and,
- had multiple light-coloured scars on both hands.
