Pride Crosswalk in Milton, 2021
Milton is getting a Pride festival this summer!
The Halton Pride Fest will be a celebration of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and its allies.
It’s being held in collaboration with pflag Halton, Country Heritage Park, Queer@Rock, Prism, and Halton Black Voices.
The all-ages, fun-filled outdoor festival will include:
- Food trucks;
- a vendor market;
- live entertainment and music;
- arts and crafts;
- lawn games;
- face painting;
- prizes; and,
- more!
It’ll be on Saturday, June 24th at Country Heritage Park! It starts at 10:00 a.m. and will run until 4:00 p.m. Milton Mayor Gord Krantz will be among a group of Halton mayors who will attend. They will each speak at 12:00 p.m.
There will also reportedly be a Pride parade in Milton! The first of its kind for our town, it will be in August.
