For the second time, an eight-year-old Milton boy has co-authored a book!
Resident Hero Liam Wilson has published Liam’s Hospital Stay, which covers his time at the hospital with Cystic Fibrosis. Liam was just three-weeks-old when he was diagnosed with the disorder. He and his family have been raising money and awareness ever since.
On Saturday, May 6th at the Milton Bible Church at 121 Chisholm Drive in Milton, Wilson will be a part of a book launch at with his co-author Myrna Jewell and the illustrator Leesa Ervin. There will be roughly 40 vendors in attendance, as well as a special appearance by the Toronto Batman and a robot. Attendees can also expect prizes! The event will run from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
You can buy the book online here, as well as in-person at Saturday’s event. $5 from every purchase will go to support the Sick Kids Foundation and John Tavares Foundation.
