The Town of Milton’s 2022 municipal election is on Monday.
You can vote on October 24th if you are a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old, and a Milton resident. If you are a non-resident but you or your spouse own or rent property in Milton, you are also eligible to vote.

In-person voting will be open from 10am – 8pm at any polling station within your ward, which you can find here.
If you are unsure, head over to the ward boundaries map to find out which location is closest to you.
Remember to bring your voter notification card and one piece of identification. If you didn’t receive your notification card, bring identification that has your name and address on it. To find out about acceptable forms of identification, visit the election website.
Here’s what to expect at the voting polls:
- Election staff will greet you once you arrive at the voting location.
- Present your identification and voter notification card. Staff will check if you’re eligible to vote. If you meet the requirements, you’ll be given a ballot in a secrecy folder.
- You will go behind a voting screen to complete your ballot. To vote for your chosen candidates, fill in the oval beside their names, and place your ballot back into the secrecy folder and give it to the Designated Election Official.
