Nottawasaga Pines Secondary School in Angus unveiled artwork in recognition of Truth and Reconciliation Day.
In partnership with the Essa Public Library, a heart garden along with two eight-foot tall stainless-steel feathers were displayed on the outside walls of the school .
Created by students and members of the community in recognition of residential school survivors and victims, the project was a year in the making.
The project was revealed Thursday (sept29) morning.
