A tornado warning has been issued for the Milton area.
As of 3:41 p.m. today (Thursday, August 25th) Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado.
Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible for the Halton – Peel area of Halton Hills – Milton.
This severe thunderstorm is located 6 kilometers south of Acton, moving east at 25 km/h.
Heavy downpours, 90 km/h wind gusts and pea to dime size hail are expected.
Locations impacted include:
Speyside, Darbyville, Brookville, Sayers Mills, Scotch Block, Kelso, Milton Heights, Boston, Mansewood and Peru.
