Heads up: the Milton Farmers’ Market will have a slight change this weekend.
On Saturday, July 9th, an event will be running at the Milton Fairgrounds that will interfere with the weekly market. The Milton Chamber of Commerce considered not running a market this weekend due to this change, but have decided to allow a select number of vendors to gather to sell perishable seasonal items.
The impromptu, smaller market will be held at the former TSC location at Main Street and Bronte Street in Milton.
Attendees can expect favourites like Fenwick Farms, Teresa’s Garden Centre, Smerek Farms and Thames River Melons. President and CEO of the Milton Chamber expects there to be about six or seven vendors total on Saturday.
It will run 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 9th. The market will return to the Milton Fairgrounds the following week.
