A Superstarrs 2 Superheroes event is happening in Milton on July 10th in support of SickKids.
The event is being held to show support for children in the hospital, and those that have critical illnesses.
Event organizer Deana Wilson, has a seven-year-old son named Liam, who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when he was 3 weeks old.
Wilson has been raising money SickKids for seven years, and created Liam’s Mission to raise awareness for cystic fibrosis (CF).
It is estimated that one in every 3,600 children born in Canada has CF. More than 4,300 Canadian children, adolescents, and adults with cystic fibrosis attend specialized CF clinics.
The fundraiser will be from 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at The Milton Community Park (805 Santa Maria Blvd).
There will be vendors, a talent show, food trucks, a live DJ, face painting, guest speakers, the Milton Fire Truck, and much more.
