Two Burlington residents have been arrested following a drug investigation by the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS)
On Tuesday March 15th, 29-year-old Braeden Bonhomme and 29-year-old Taylor Bakti, both of Burlington, were arrested.
Bonhomme has been charged with the following:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (3 counts)
- Weapons Dangerous
- Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
- Breach Probation
- Breach Weapons Prohibition Order
Bakti has been charged with the following:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (3 counts)
- Weapons Dangerous
- Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
Search warrants were also executed by investigators at two residences in Burlington and the following items were seized:
- 221.5 grams of cocaine
- 11.9 grams of psilocybin
- 19 oxycodone pills
- $330 cash
- 4 cell phones
- 2 knives
- Pepper spray
- 1 digital scale
Taylor Bakti was released from custody pending a court appearance and Braiden Bonhomme was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
