The federal election is set for Monday, April 28th.
Advanced voting took place over the Easter long weekend. If you haven’t gotten your vote in, you’ll have to do so on election day at the polls.
Voting polls open at 9:30 a.m. on election day. They will close at 9:30 p.m. You can find your polling location on your Voter Information Card that you received in the mail. If you did not receive one, you can find your polling location through here. You do not need your Voter Information Card to vote. Just bring valid I.D. and some patience.
Milton has been split in half to create two separate ridings this time around. ‘Milton East’ will pair with ‘Halton Hills South’ for one of them, and the other will see ‘Milton West’ pair with ‘Burlington North’. Read more on the new ridings here. You must vote in your respective riding.
We tried our best to interview all 10 candidates split across both Milton ridings. Six of the candidates took up our offer to discuss their platforms. You can hear from them here.
