Smile Cookies
Tim Hortons will be supporting important local causes next week with the return of a fan favourite.
From Monday, April 28th to Sunday, May 4th, Tim Hortons Smile Cookies are back, and this year, the majority of Milton locations will be directing 100% of cookie proceeds to the Milton District Hospital Foundation (MDHF).
The annual week-long campaign sees Tim Hortons restaurants across the country support local charities and community groups, with last year’s campaign raising nearly $18.8 million nationwide. Since its launch in 1996, the Smile Cookie program has generated more than $129 million for community causes across Canada and the U.S.
In Milton, most Tims locations will support the local hospital foundation, helping to fund essential medical equipment and services. However, the Tim Hortons located at 10220 Derry Road will direct proceeds to the Sick Kids Foundation, according to the official campaign map. Smile Cookies – featuring hand-decorated smiles on chocolate chunk cookies -can be purchased in-store, through the app, or via pre-order for bulk purchases.
Also new this year: a reversible plush Smile Cookie toy is available, with net proceeds also going to charity.
