Just when you think they might be out, the Milton Menace pull themselves back in it.
Game three of OJHL Finals was held on Wednesday, April 23rd at Trenton’s Duncan Memorial Gardens in front of 1262 people in attendance.
The first period started off slow as neither team was able to get on the board. Even the shots were low, as Trenton outshot Milton 6-5.
Things picked up in the second period, as Justin Dezoete was able to bury his 5th of the postseason, assisted by Luke Johnston and Captain Graeme MacAuley. That’d be all in the frame, as the Menace led 1-0 after 40 minutes of action.
In the final period, Milton ran away with the game. Spencer Vandenberg would net his 2nd of the Playoffs, assisted by Ivan Fabjan and Madden MacDougall. A couple minutes later, Owen Kindree would score his 1st of the postseason, with help from MacDougall and Ryder Cali. Before the end of the period, Cali would get one of his own. His 4th was assisted by Dezoete and Nathan Catalano. Milton would beat Trenton 4-0 to claim game three.
Carter Bickle was in net for the Menace. He stopped all 28 shots for the shutout win.
Game four is set for Friday, April 25th at the Milton Memorial Arena. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
