Conservation Halton has been recognized as one of Canada’s Greenest Employers for 2025 by Canada’s Top 100 Employers, celebrating its commitment to sustainability and environmental leadership.
The award highlights organizations that integrate eco-conscious values into their operations, and Conservation Halton stood out for its restoration projects, carbon reduction efforts, and culture of environmental stewardship.
In 2024 alone, the organization completed over 110 restoration projects and planted more than 66,000 native trees and shrubs.
Conservation Halton also supports green living with EV charging stations, LED upgrades, and community programs like free park passes through libraries and nature prescriptions via PaRx.
This is the organization’s second major accolade in 2025, also being named a Hamilton-Niagara Top Employer earlier this year.
