The Rotary Club of Milton is now accepting applications for the 2025 Milton Youth Volunteer Scholarships!
They recognize local graduating students who have shown outstanding leadership in volunteering, environmental protection, and peacebuilding.
This year’s program includes three $1,000 Rotary Scholarships for community service and two $1,000 Rockwool Scholarships dedicated to environmental leadership.
Applicants must be Milton residents, graduating in 2025, and have exceeded the standard 40-hour volunteer requirement. Selection will be based on leadership, commitment to community, and a written essay (750–1,000 words) discussing their volunteerism, environmental involvement, and promotion of peace. Academic achievement will be considered, but is not the sole factor.
The application deadline is Wednesday, April 30th. Winners will be selected by a Rotary Club committee and notified by mid-May. Recipients are expected to attend the Milton Rotary Awards Night later in the spring.
