A young driver is facing serious penalties after being caught speeding more than twice the limit in Milton.
Halton Police say the G2-licensed driver was clocked at 126 km/h in a posted 60 zone.
Police are reminding drivers that while everyone has somewhere to be, excessive speed is never acceptable — and comes with consequences. In this case, the driver lost their license for 30 days and had their vehicle impounded for 14 days under Ontario’s stunt driving laws.
