Running from Tuesday, April 22nd to Tuesday, April 29th, this year’s Earth Week theme focuses on enhancing natural spaces, supporting biodiversity, and creating a resilient, low-carbon community.
Residents are encouraged to take part in a variety of events, including:
- Community Clean-up

- EcoFilm Fest
- 22-Minute Makeover
- Tree Voucher Pilot Program

On Saturday, April 26th, the Town will offer free compost and woodchip mulch at the Robert C. Austin Operations Centre, while residents can also meet their local Councillors at designated clean-up sites across the community.
Mayor Anne Lawlor is urging everyone to get involved.
“Whether you plant a tree, clean up your neighbourhood, or choose to walk or bike, every small action helps create a better future.”
