Milton teens will have a chance to turn garbage into glamour at a special Earth Day event hosted by the Milton Public Library (MPL).
The library’s Main Branch is inviting local youth ages 11 to 17 to take part in its Earth Day Trashion Show on Saturday, April 12th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Teal Room. Participants will use clean trash and recyclable materials to design their own clothing and accessories — all in the name of sustainability and creativity.
Once their looks are complete, participants can show off their outfits on a “catwalk” and compete for prizes awarded to the most creative and stylish designs.
All materials will be provided, and the event aims to combine environmental awareness with a fun, hands-on activity that celebrates Earth Day in a unique way.
