Another home in Oakville was broken into overnight on Monday, April 7th.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says that at roughly 11:00 p.m., three suspects, one armed with a large knife, forced entry through the front door of a residence in the area of Randall Street and Watson Avenue. The suspects confronted the adult male and adult female residents of the home demanding the keys to a Landrover parked in the driveway. A physical altercation ensued between the suspects and both residents before the suspects located the keys and fled in the stolen Landrover.
The man sustained minor injuries as a result of the altercation.
All three suspects are described by the HRPS as:
- male
- wearing dark-coloured clothing and face masks
The suspect vehicle is described by the HRPS as:
- light-coloured sedan
- believed to be a Honda Civic
The HRPS is attempting to identify the suspects and suspect vehicle and is requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation, including any security or dash cam video from the area of Randall Street and Watson Avenue on April 7th, between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
