A Toronto man has been charged in connection to an Oakville carjacking incident.
On Wednesday, April 2nd, Waterloo Regional Police Service completed a search warrant in Toronto and Pickering. They recovered a stolen BMW, $8,000 in cash, and other related property.
A 23-year-old Toronto man and a 26-year-old Pickering man were arrested and charged with two counts of attempt motor vehicle theft.
In relation to the Oakville carjacking, the Toronto man faces the additional charges of:
- Robbery with violence
- Motor vehicle theft with violence
- Uttering forged document
- Possess counterfeit mark
- Dangerous operation
- Possession of stolen goods over $5,000
The suspects were held for a bail hearing.
