Two arrests have been made following an investigation by the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) into the vandalization of the Sri Krishna Brundavana Temple in Georgetown.
On Saturday, April 5th, both suspects turned themselves in to HRPS officers.
As a result of the investigation:
- 24-year-old Matthew Maciejko of Halton Hills has been charged with Mischief – Under $5000
- 25-year-old Nathan Pobgee of Halton Hills has been charged with Mischief – Under $5000
The two were released on an Undertaking with a future court date in Milton.

Two unknown male suspects are wanted by the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) after a Hindu temple in Georgetown was vandalized.
On Sunday, March 30th, at roughly 1:10 a.m., the pair of suspects were seen in hooded sweatshirts leaving a pub in the downtown area. They then reportedly walked to the Sri Krishna Brundavana Temple on Main Street South in Georgetown.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating vandalism to a Hindu temple in Georgetown.
Security footage captured the suspects ripping down and damaging a sign at the front of the temple.
Police are looking to identify the suspects.
