The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) is conducting its School Climate Survey as part of its commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and welcoming schools.
This survey, conducted every two years, gathers feedback from students, parents, and staff to assess how well schools support learning, positive behavior, and inclusivity.
It explores various aspects of school life, including community relationships, school safety, academic engagement, and student well-being. It also includes specific questions on bullying, school-parish connections, risky behaviors for high school students, and self-esteem for students in Grades 7-12. Additionally, demographic data is collected to help school planning teams better understand different identities within the school community.
The feedback gathered will guide HCDSB in developing strategies to enhance the school environment for all students. By participating, families and staff play a crucial role in shaping policies that promote a positive and supportive educational experience.
