Four people are wanted following a home invasion in Oakville.
On Saturday, March 29th, at roughly 5:25 a.m., a group of suspects forced their way through the rear patio door of a residence in the area of Meadowridge Drive and Dundas Street East. Two of the suspects confronted the man and woman living there, demanding the keys to their vehicles. During a brief confrontation, one suspect struck the man in the face with an unknown object and all four suspects fled the residence. The suspects stole a handbag from inside the residence; however, the vehicle keys and vehicles were not taken.
The man sustained a minor physical injury as a result of the altercation.
All four suspects are described by the HRPS as:
- male
- wearing dark coloured clothing and face masks
One suspect was seen holding a handgun.
The HRPS is attempting to identify the suspects and potential suspect vehicle and is requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation, including any security or dash cam video from the area of Meadowridge Drive and Craigleith Road between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
