Milton Public Library's Beaty branch (2021)
Students in Milton have a long weekend coming up!
Friday, April 4th is a PA Day for students across Halton.
With that, the MPL is helping parents and guardians keep their children busy with some local activities.
Starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Beaty library branch, the MPL will have a free viewing of ‘Harold and the Purple Crayon’. They’ve provided a description for the film:
“Adventurous Harold can make anything come to life simply by drawing it. After he grows up and draws himself off the book’s pages and into the physical world, Harold finds he has a lot to learn about real life – and that his trusty purple crayon may set off more hilarious hijinks than he thought possible.”
Parents must remain in attendance with their children. Drinks (preferably water) are welcome for attendees, so long as they’re kept in spill-free containers.
It’s expected to wrap up by 3:05 p.m.
Also happening on Friday is a craft event!
Children between the ages 6-12 can show up at the Sherwood library branch to take part in a fun afternoon of crafting.
It’ll start at 3:00 p.m.
Anyone taking part must have a registered library card (which are free at any MPL location).
Check out all three MPL branches:
