Families in Halton can now plan ahead—the Halton District School Board (HDSB) and the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) have received final approval for the 2025-2026 school year calendar from the Ontario Ministry of Education.
The first day of school for students will be Wednesday, September 3rd.
The calendar, developed with input from the School Year Calendar Committee, includes important dates such as Professional Activity (PA) days, school breaks, and holidays. Trustees from both boards officially approved the calendar during their respective Board meetings in February.
