The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for a trip of suspects following an overnight car-jacking in Oakville.
On Monday, March 24th, at roughly 11:30 p.m., the victim parked his BMW sedan in his driveway, located in the area of William Rose Way and Wheat Boom Drive, after returning from Goodlife Fitness in Oakville. As the victim parked his vehicle, a dark coloured BMW SUV entered the driveway and the victim was pulled out of his vehicle by one of two suspects who demanded the victim’s vehicle keys. The keys were turned over to the suspects who stole the victim’s vehicle and fled south towards Dundas Street East.
No weapons were mentioned or observed and the victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
Both suspects are described by the HRPS as:
- male
- brown skin
- approximately 5’10” tall
- heavier builds
- wearing dark coloured hoodies, toques, and medial masks
A third suspect was observed driving the suspect vehicle.
The HRPS is requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation, including any security or dash cam video from the area of William Rose Way and Oakville Place Mall, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. to contact the 2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216.
